Domestic Violence Service Center welcomes new executive director

WILKES-BARRE — The Domestic Violence Service Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting victims of domestic violence and their children, on Wednesday announced the appointment of Danielle Keith-Alexandre as its new executive director, effective April 16.

Keith-Alexandre will lead the organization in its mission toward a violence-free tomorrow.

Keith-Alexandre joins DVSC with a remarkable background in human services and nonprofit leadership. Most recently, Danielle was the CEO and executive director of Keystone Mission in Scranton.

Prior experience includes roles with Family Connections of Easton, Resurrected Community Development Corporation, and Family Services Network of New York.

Keith-Alexandre holds a Master of Science in human and social services from Walden University, and a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Keith-Alexandre’s experience in community engagement, grants and fundraising, and board interaction will significantly contribute to the continued success of DVSC.
