The Pennsylvania Lottery is recognizing two jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets worth a combined total of $450,000 sold from the weekend drawings.
The winning tickets include one prize worth $300,000 and one prize worth $150,000. Both tickets were sold at different Lottery retailer locations in Luzerne County.
On Friday, Aug. 15, one Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket matched all five balls drawn — 8-18-28-29-37 — to win a jackpot prize of $300,000, less applicable withholding.
Gerrity’s Supermarket, 2280 Sans Souci Parkway, Hanover Township, sold the winning ticket and will earn a $500 bonus.
Then on Saturday, Aug. 16, one Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket matched all five balls drawn — 2-15-28-37-43 — to win a jackpot prize of $150,000, less applicable withholding.
Beer O’ Clock, 485 Scott St., Wilkes-Barre, sold the winning ticket and will earn a $500 bonus.
Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. A main Cash 5 game prize must be claimed within one year of the drawing date. Any prizes won on any Quick Cash game must be claimed within one year of the purchase date.
Anyone holding a jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket should contact the nearest Lottery office for further instructions or call 1-800-692-7481.
In both drawings, more than 16,900 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets also won prizes of various amounts. Players should check every ticket, every time, and claim lower-tier prizes at a Lottery retailer.
