WILKES-BARRE — A man from Kingston who admitted to supplying fentanyl that led to a person’s overdose in Dallas Township was sentenced to state prison on Wednesday.
Luzerne County Judge Joseph F. Sklarosky Jr. sentenced Daniel Paul Bokrosh, 35, of Gibson Avenue, to 15 months-to-four-years in state prison on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance. Bokrosh pled guilty to the charge prior to being sentenced.
According to the criminal complaint:
Dallas Township police investigated an overdose of a person after ingesting fentanyl on Aug. 4. A bag with fentanyl was found inside the residence with an image of a tongue and the words, “Licking the Bage.”
The investigation revealed the person purchased fentanyl from Bokrosh earlier the same day.
During an interview with Kingston police detectives, Bokrosh admitted to being the middle man who obtained fentanyl from a supplier and giving the illicit drug to the person who overdosed, the complaint says.
